Teanook began with a small frustration: the afternoon-tea ritual is lovely, but setting it at home means gathering odds and ends. A pot from one cupboard, mismatched saucers from another, no stand at all. The tea was never the problem — the table was.

So we built a store for the table itself. We organise everything into five groups — pots and infusers, cups and saucers, tiered stands and serve-ware, linen, and the care pieces that keep it all in good order — and gather them into bundles so a whole tea for two, or a table for six, can be set in one sitting.

We are deliberately a teaware store. We sell the vessels and the table, and nothing you consume. You bring the tea; we make sure it has somewhere beautiful to be poured.
